Perez Family Therapy is a growing virtual practice in California. We provide psychotherapy to BIPOC individuals while creating a safe, encouraging, and inclusive space. We are a trauma-informed, community-oriented, and anti-racist practice.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, or social work

• Active license (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) or associate number (minimum of 1,500 hours) in the state of California

• Able to conduct telehealth sessions in a private and confidential space

• Passionate about working with diverse cultures, marginalized communities, and immigrants

• Familiarity with conducting intakes, creating treatment plans, and diagnosing

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members

• Trained in EMDR (preferred but not required)

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Maintain a caseload of 10-15 weekly client sessions

• Attend and participate in monthly staff meetings and weekly clinical supervision for those collecting hours toward licensure

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based teletherapy to BIPOC individuals 

• Maintain accurate records regarding progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, evaluations, and referrals made for further treatment

• Complete documentation in a timely manner

• Seek clinical supervision/consultation and support when challenging sessions or cases arise

• Passionate about growing, learning, and improving therapeutic skills
