Perez Family Therapy is a growing virtual practice in California. We provide psychotherapy to BIPOC individuals while creating a safe, encouraging, and inclusive space. We are a trauma-informed, community-oriented, and anti-racist practice.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, or social work
Active license (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) or associate number (minimum of 1,500 hours) in the state of California
Able to conduct telehealth sessions in a private and confidential space
Passionate about working with diverse cultures, marginalized communities, and immigrants
Familiarity with conducting intakes, creating treatment plans, and diagnosing
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Trained in EMDR (preferred but not required)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a caseload of 10-15 weekly client sessions
Attend and participate in monthly staff meetings and weekly clinical supervision for those collecting hours toward licensure
Provide high-quality, evidence-based teletherapy to BIPOC individuals
Maintain accurate records regarding progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, evaluations, and referrals made for further treatment
Complete documentation in a timely manner
Seek clinical supervision/consultation and support when challenging sessions or cases arise
Passionate about growing, learning, and improving therapeutic skills

$40/hr for Associate Therapists
$50/hr for Licensed Therapists
